Open space lovers rejoice. The City of Hoboken announced that it has entered into an agreement with the owners of a property at 1st Street and Jackson Street to demolish a derelict building damaged by fire in 2012 and to give the City a 20-year open space easement on two lots located across the street from that property to create a new park.
