We’ve talked before about the importance of connecting Hoboken’s waterfront. It’s Hoboken’s crown jewel.
And while there’s beautiful Pier A and Pier C parks to the South:
The following is a Guest Post by Andrew Price:
North America is such an amazing continent. I just came back from Mexico, which is always a wonderful experience, and it always amazes me how much variety there is on one continent. Mega cities, ancient ruins, some of the most beautiful rolling hillside towns filled with Spanish architecture. You can go from tundra to tropics. Most of it is just half a day of traveling away, and very affordable compared to Europe. We are on a lucky continent. You’re forbidden from generalizing North American urbanism without visiting a least a few of the places on the Pueblo Mágico list.
When I first visited Mexico, it shocked me how much inequality there was between the rich and the poor. Mexico City is up there among the most beautiful cities in the world…

Memorial Day Weekend, an important event commemorating all men and women who have died in military service for our country. Colloquially, Memorial Day Weekend has become the unofficial start to summer. And it’s the start for people to go down the shore, the Hampton’s or basically just get out of town.
A new passageway connecting the World Trade Center Path Station with the rest of the NYC subway is set to open at 5pm today. The Dey Street Passageway will provide PATH riders with a direct underground connection to the subway – specifically, the 2,3,4,5, A,C,J,Z and R lines.
We’re big fans of the W Hoboken. And it’s hard not to be – it beautifully makes up Hoboken’s downtown waterfront. Plus it’s our only hotel.
The W has been around nearly 10 years, and it was a matter of time before some of its dining options started to get spruced up.
You probably haven’t heard of Newell Brands – but you definitely know what they make. They own some of the most well-known household and consumer product lines:
Hoboken real estate hit a new high water mark when 504 Hudson Street, a limestone townhouse originally built in 1854, sold for $6.5 million. The closing amount met the full asking price. And the property was under contract in just nine days.
We are an apolitical blog covering the various aspects of business that affect the city of Hoboken and its residents.
Our aim is to deliver a high standard of coverage with regards to local business, real estate, infrastructure, government and intersecting topics.
